11am Opening Ceremonies honoring nine Congressional Medal of Honor recipients* with Congresswoman Sue Myrick
11:30am – 12:30pm Mike Rucker,  former NFL defensive end for the Carolina Panthers
12 noon Live Band - Thom Crumpton with WIZDOM
12 noon-1pm-Rufus, Official Mascot of the Charlotte Bobcats
1pm Live Band - Too Much Sylvia
1pm-2pm-Sir Purr, Official Mascot of the Carolina Panthers
2pm Patriotic Parachute Demo Team performs
4pm Live Band - Phil Harmonic and the Blue Notes
5pm Live Band - Howl At The Moon Dueling Pianos
6pm Closing Ceremonies with Mayor Pat McCrory honoring our Fallen Angels from the Carolinas, followed by a 21-gun salute and taps

Scheduled throughout the day:
Special military maneuvers, military vehicles, kid-fun area, face painting, fire trucks, food, military bands, representatives from all branches of the military, humvees , jet cockpit

Shake hands and thank our military heroes in person. Wear your patriotism on your sleeve and show your support!

*The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress, it is often called the Congressional Medal of Honor. In the history of the Medal there have been 3,447 recipients of which 97 are alive today. The eight Congressional Medal of Honor recipients scheduled to appear include John Baker, Joe Marm, Rudi Hernandez, Bob Howard, Gary Littrell, Hector Cafferata, Charles Murray, Len Keller and Robert Patterson.
